SuperAmerica is proud to be a part of the communities we serve. Through our involvement in local charities and other local companies, giving back is an important part of the way we operate every day.

Here are some of the local events our employees are proud to support:

More Than Names

SuperAmerica is proud to be a part of the “More Than Names,” an Accomplish MN campaign to recognize and support our military members and their families. Minnesotans all across this great state will have the chance to step up and sign our 102-by-76 foot flag, a flag large enough for more than 150,000 names. Everyone who signs will be part of the world record for most signatures on a flag. Each signature is a symbol of gratitude and support but to the men and women who have served in the military and their families, they are so much “More Than Names.” Visit More Than Names for the complete Sign the Flag Road Schedule.

Feed My Starving Children

Our operations team, along with Woodbury support staff, partnered with Coca-Cola to fill and pack food at Feed My Starving Children.

The combined team totaled 250 employees working together packing 81,000 meals for children in need. SUPERAMERICA also donated $1000.00 to the organization.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF)

2015 marks the fourth year of the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and SuperAmerica partnership. SuperAmerica’s stores raised funds for JDRF through the generosity of our customers. The stores’ combined efforts raised more than $135,000 for JDRF. Over 120 SuperAmerica employees walked in the annual “Walk to Cure” diabetes at the Mall of America. The proceeds go towards funding research for people affected by Type 1 Diabetes.

Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare & Childrens Miracle Network

SuperAmerica continues to be one of Gillette’s top fundraisers with help from our customers and employees. This summer, we continued that tradition, taking to the golf course in Ham Lake. Through our vendors and employee golfers, the tournament raises over $100,000 for Gillette!!
